California law is a “solution in search of a problem”
Michael Gallagher, President and CEO of ESA, refuted the link between video games and violence in a recent op/ed in US News and World Report with some pretty powerful evidence.
He points out that scientific research and government reporting contradict the allegation that video games can be harmful. Gallagher argues that censorship, similar to the California law, are "solution[s] in search of a problem".
